Zara Steps onto TikTok Shop | Retail News UK

Zara has become the latest brand to have started selling via TikTok Shop, enabling users to directly buy its clothing from the social media platform, reported Retail Gazette. The fashion giant is selling a curated selection from its womenswear, menswear, and kids’ ranges, available in various sizes.

Through its collaboration with TikTok Shop, Zara can tag products directly in its videos, eliminating the need for users to leave the app to make a purchase.

This move is part of Zara’s revamped marketing strategy, shifting toward user-generated content (UGC)-style product displays over traditional editorial presentations.

In recent months, TikTok has been expanding its shop offerings, introducing new categories like ‘refurbished technology’ for purchasing second-hand mobile phones and tablets.

The social platform introduced a logistics program for UK sellers, ‘Fulfilled by TikTok’ (FBT), to make it “easier” for merchants to sell their goods on the shop.

In August, the social media platform introduced a new logistics program for UK sellers. The program, known as ‘Fulfilled by TikTok’ (FBT), streamlines the logistics process, allowing merchants to dedicate their focus to other aspects of their business.
