Daniel Lee is an English fashion designer, born on January 22, 1986.

He is currently the chief creative officer of the British design house Burberry.

He has gained many accolades for his work, and has been a recipient of four wins at The Fashion Awards.

Lee was born in Bradford, West Yorkshire.

He went to Dixons City Academy in Bradford, and later attended Saint Martin’s College in London.

Who is Daniel Lee’s partner?

Lee’s boyfriend is acclaimed Italian dancer Roberto Bolle.

Bolle is regarded as one of the most famous Italian dancers of all time, having performed in major productions across the world.

The pair were first seen publicly together in 2020.

When did Daniel Lee leave Bottega and join Burberry?

Daniel Lee left Italian luxury fashion house Bottega Veneta in November 2021.

Lee announced he would be leaving his post as creative director in a “joint decision to end their collaboration”.

He held the post of creative director at the company from 2018 and introduced his first collection for the brand in 2019.

He was appointed to give a new impetus to the Italian luxury fashion house and develop its ready-to-wear collection. 

His agenda also included rebooting the men’s ready-to-wear collection and launching a home collection.

Lee was appointed as Riccardo Tisci’s replacement as Chief Creative Officer at the helm of Burberry in 2022.

Lee’s debut for Burberry was its Autumn / Winter 2023 collection.

Who did Daniel Lee design for before Bottega Veneta?

Lee interned at Maison Margiela and Balenciaga and landed a position at Donna Karan in New York after graduating with a Master’s degree in 2010.

In 2012, Lee left Donna Karan for Céline in Paris, where he started as a member of the design team and eventually became the director of ready-to-wear design.
