Ryanair warning as digital boarding passes might not be accepted

Ryanair has warned British tourists that digital boarding passes won’t be accepted at every airport the budget airline flies to.

An airline spokesperson said: “We accept mobile boarding passes on flights from the majority of airports on our network.

“However, unfortunately some airports cannot accept mobile boarding passes yet, these airports are Turkey and Morocco.”

Ryanair also warned that Tirana Airport in Albania is also unable to accept mobile boarding passes.

The spokesperson added: “Customers travelling from these airports must check-in online and print out a paper boarding pass for their flight (s).”

Ryanair passengers can access their boarding pass under the ‘My Bookings” section on the app.

If travellers need to have their boarding pass reissued for any reason they may be charged 20 euros (£17.27).

Passengers could also be charged if they check in at the airport by Ryanair.
