We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our forward thinking, developing Occupational Therapy department. We have a team of skilled, dedicated, friendly and supportive staff, however as our department grows, we are seeking more occupational therapists to continue to develop and provide a high quality service for our clients.
We strive to support Bradford Citizens to remain active, independent, and involved with their communities through personalised, strength-based and TEC supported approaches. The staff work in a variety of settings including intermediate care, enablement, evaluating care packages, equipment, minor adaptations, major adaptations, and moving and handling.
We are seeking an occupational therapist for our Children’s and Young People’s team (CYPOT).

The team, work with children, young people, their families, and other organisations to offer a quality professional service to children and young people with physical disabilities, complex health needs and challenging behaviours.
The aim is to help children and young people to remain at home cared for by their families and enable them to be as independent as possible. This involves assessment, giving advice, support and the recommendation or provision of appropriate and necessary equipment or adaptations.
The successful candidate must possess the following skills:
- Have a professional qualification in Occupational Therapy and be HCPC registered.
- Have significant experience within the area of Paediatric occupational therapy.
- Have a knowledge and practical understanding of relevant legislation including the Care Act and Housing legislation.
- Be open to new ideas and be able to encourage others to adapt to and embrace change.
