Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel of Sweden were welcomed with open arms on Wednesday, as they touched down in the UK. On the first evening of their three-day state visit, the couple spent time at a gala dinner at the Natural History Museum. Hosted by Business Sweden, the Princess looked dazzling in an H&M sequined silver dress, topped off with tassels. Paired with a pair of stiletto heels, a Nancy Gonzalez handbag and a pair of drop earrings, her appearance wowed the other attendees. The Prince looked sophisticated in a Bond-esque blue suit with black lapels and a bowtie.
Earlier in the day, the Princess also joined the long list of royal family members to participate in a popular British pastime. The heir to the Swedish throne was seen at the Three Blackbirds Pub in Newmarket pouring a pint of the refreshing beer, The Norfolk Topper. Prince Daniel stood loyally by her side, as she took a sip. They follow in the footsteps of King Charles, Prince William and Rishi Sunak in the long-standing royal and political tradition.
They also visited a military training camp in East Anglia. There, they met with Swedish army personnel who were delivering training to Ukrainian soldiers in their ongoing conflict with Russia. The couple also paid a visit to Imperial College nearby to the museum.
